Rhys Allen was also chosen to attend a training camp for the Sydney Under 16 squad at North Narrabeen this week. The Under 16 representative side are also eligible for selection in the Sydney Under 16 squad.

No junior games or netball were played this weekend due to the school holidays.

The mighty Epping Rams Senior Rugby Union, had there first home game for the year and were not out to disappoint. The Rams fourth grade lead the way with an incredible comeback from 17 - 0 down to wow the crowd in the last 15 minutes to score three tries and level the score. With the last conversion from the side line to win the game, the crowd held there breath as it went sailing towards the goal post, unfortunately it was waved away to leave the scores all locked up at 17 all. Third grade took to the field and took their second victory for the season, 12 - 0 in a hard fought win. Second grade followed suit with a solid 15 - 5 win.

First grade came out all guns ablaze and took an early lead, CBOB's were not about to lie down and came back with a try to level it all up. With 20 minutes left in the game it was all tied at 15 all. Then a stunned Epping crowd watched CBOB's run in four unanswered tries to take the game 41- 15.
Although the first grade results did dampen the day a little, all had a fantastic time back the Ryde City Bowls club, were we celebrated the victories and lamented the defeats.
